View All InvestmentsHalder facilitated the succession for Wback’s founder in 2013 by promoting the former head of sales as CEO, two additional hires completed the new C-Level management Team. In addition the organization was strengthened with the establishment of new functions like product development. The production capacity was expanded by 50% with the focus to have a flexible state of the art production set-up to handle different customers from different end-industries. Based on these initiatives the company was able unlock new end-industries and win major accounts. During our holding period sales doubled and Wback become the market leader for fresh hamburger buns in the DACH region. In early 2019 Wback was sold to C.H. Guenther & Sons, a US-based global diversified food manufacturer
