Guido Carissimo (1956) has been working as a Senior Advisor to Halder since 2011. His business career started in 1982 at Pirelli, Milan, where he worked for 15 years at the head office and various group companies. This included Metzler Reifen, Munich, where he was managing director for Pirelli’s global motorcycle tyre business. Since 1997, Carissimo has been an entrepreneur, a. o. taking the CEO role for a successful MBI by a large international PE fund at Caravans International, a leading Italian motorhome manufacturer. He is a founding partner and shareholder of Vela Imprese, Milan, established in 2007. Vela Imprese focuses on VC investments and advisory services, the firm is a co-investor in BMB, a Halder portfolio company.
Guido Carissimo holds BA and MA degrees in economics from Boston University and Bocconi University, Milan.
