Dr. Wilfried Kaiser has been a member of Halder's Advisory Board since 2003 and its chairman since 2004. From 1992 to 1998 he was Member of the Executive Management Board at ABB in Mannheim heading the transportation division. After ABB’s and Daimler Chrysler’s rail transportation units merged to form Adtranz, he was responsible for sales and environmental issues at the new company. He has previously held management positions in the automotive and commercial vehicles sector, including Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz and Xaver Fendt.

Dr. Wilfried Kaiser studied Physics and Mechanical Engineering in Münster and Karlsruhe, where he graduated in 1972.
